Holiday Club
We run a Holiday Club for children aged 4-12 years during every school holiday, including most school INSET days.
Every holiday has a different theme, with activities, games, and fun both indoors and outdoors. In keeping with our term-time ethos, we plan activities based on the children’s interests and encourage them to take part in planning their own play.
Children aged 4 are welcome, provided they are already attending school.
Opening times:
Monday to Friday, 7:30am – 6:00pm
Session prices:
- Up to 5 hours in one day – £27.00
- Over 5 hours in one day – £38.00
Each term, as holidays approach, we email all registered parents (registration is free) with a booking form for the upcoming holiday period. Copies are also available here on our website (see below for the latest flyer) and via our Facebook page. Some local schools in the Purbeck area may also distribute forms through their offices.
Completed booking forms can be returned by hand, post, or email. Please note that once booked, sessions are chargeable even if cancelled.
HAF – Holidays and Food
We have limited HAF spaces for children who receive benefit-related free school meals, including a hot lunch(provided by external caterers) for selected days of up to 5 hours.

FAQs
Yes, please contact us by phone or email to arrange a time to visit us — you’d be most welcome. We ask that you visit out of operating hours.
Please complete a booking form (you can download one here) and return it to us by email (primetimekidsclub@tiscali.co.uk) or by post/hand. Once we receive it, we’ll check if you’re registered with us.
If you aren’t, or haven’t used us for over a year, we’ll send registration forms to complete before we can accept the booking.
Once registration is complete, or if you’re already registered, please await our email confirmation that you have a place at the holiday club.
In holidays, once you book you are charged should you later cancel for any reason.
Prime Time is an inclusive club with a SEN policy. We acknowledge that each child should be considered as the individual they are.
Please disclose all relevant details on the registration forms — there’s a section for your child’s needs.
We’ll talk with you and professionals who know your child (teachers, support workers, or health/social care professionals) to make the correct decision for your child.
Each child is assessed individually, and we consider what reasonable adjustments can be made to support attendance.
Please give plenty of notice so we can consult with others and reach a decision, considering their needs, setup of the club, and available support or funding.
If you use us term-time (before and after school), your holiday club sessions will be added to your normal monthly invoices.
If you only use the holiday club, you’ll receive an invoice to be paid in advance by the date on the invoice, along with your confirmation email and additional details.
We ask, wherever possible, that you pay by BACS or childcare vouchers/tax-free savings accounts.
If not possible, you may pay by cash in advance.

No. We don’t have set session times as this isn’t always helpful to working parents.
On the booking form, you can write your preferred drop-off and collection times. If these change, just let us know.
You’ll receive a confirmation email and another with all the details before the start of the holiday.
Normally, please bring:
– a named water bottle
– a packed lunch
– waterproof coat
– sunhat and sun cream (applied before attending)
– sensible shoes (no sandals, flip flops, or crocs)
Please no toys, mobile phones, or electronic devices — this helps us safeguard all children from online risks and photography concerns.
Yes. We advise all parents to visit childcarechoices.gov.uk and use their online calculator to see what help is available.
As an Ofsted-registered setting, you may be able to apply for childcare vouchers, tax-free savings accounts, working families tax credits, or universal credit childcare help.

Yes. We provide breakfast before 8.30am (cereals, toast, spreads) and an afternoon snack around 3.30pm.
Please provide a packed lunch for midday.
We are exploring the option of hot lunches from external caterers (£5.50/day), subject to availability each holiday.
Many parents also provide a morning snack, or we can offer toast and spreads.
Since Covid, we’ve stopped allowing parents inside the Prime Time building, and this has worked better for children and parents alike.
It’s calmer and less disruptive for those already in session.
Please ring the bell and leave your children with us at the front door. Likewise, when collecting, ring the bell and we’ll bring your child to you.
If your child struggles to settle, we’ll work with you to find the best approach and adapt as needed.
